The book is clean with no tears, the coloured boards have a photo of various veg, a mixing bowl and some eggs on thr front and veg a carrafe and a menu board on the back. The book is in good condition for age slight edge rubbing some vg recipes.

The dust-wrapper is bright and generally clean, but a touch worn and nicked top and bottom. A nice copy of this rather stylish primer on wine in which M. Simon gives an overview of the art of wine, and answers many commonly asked questions 56 pps.

A small booklet 29 pps with ads for  vegetarian products. There is no cover and it appears there may not have been. The name of previous owner is on front page. This item is a truely historic document the ad on the back for Nucoline vegetarian butter mentions a report dated 1897 and medals won between 1894-6. This suggests turn of the 20th century as a possible date. Vegetarians in those days must have been very hardy the meals are less than exciting!
